About us

We support IET members and their immediate families in times of need with legal advice, getting back into employment, counselling and financial assistance.

IET Connect was founded in 1880 and we have changed and grown alongside the Institution.

We are funded solely by donations from individuals. Without them we would not be able to continue helping members.

We work with partners who help to deliver our career support programme, legal helpline and debt advice services.

Whether volunteering, raising awareness or fundraising we couldn't continue without the support of IET members.
