The Government has provided local councils with additional funding to help households and business’ following the recent floods. Each local council is running its own scheme.

There are lots of groups on Facebook and Twitter which are helping out people affected by flooding. If you need anything they may be able to help. The support ranges from offers of temporary accommodation, cleaning equipment, clothing, toys and offers of volunteers to help with the clean-up.
